Day 1: Nairobi, KenyaYour Kenya safari tour starts when you arrive at Jomo Kenyatta Airport, where a representative will be waiting to greet you. You will be transferred to your hotel and spend the rest of the day at your leisure. Overnight is at Norfolk Hotel on a bed and breakfast basis. |

Day 2: Aberdare National Park, KenyaAfter tucking in to a delicious breakfast, your tour continues north with your guide towards the foothills of the Aberdares Mountain Range to the Aberdares Country Club for lunch. This club boasts charming gardens, lovely views, and a 9 hole golf course.
After a delicious lunch, travel to The Ark, a luxurious lodge overlooking a waterhole and salt lake, a frequent gathering place for the Big Five. The Ark offers 3 decks with numerous balconies and lounges, providing exceptional game viewing opportunities. Dinner and overnight is spent at The Ark on an all inclusive basis. |
The Ark:This unique game lodge is set in the secluded Aberdare National Park and overlooks a floodlit waterhole. It is at this waterhole that you will be able to spot Elephant, Rhino, Leopard, Bushbuck, and occasionally, bongo and giant forest hog. Accommodation is in comfortable en suite cabins boasting modern conveniences. |
Day 3: Mount Kenya National Park, KenyaAfter breakfast, travel to the world famous Mount Kenya Safari Club. This club offers spectacular mountain and forest views, a wonderful garden and a 9 hole golf course. You arrive at your lodge in time for lunch, followed by an afternoon at leisure. Meals and overnight at Mount Kenya Safari Club on an all inclusive basis. |
Mount Kenya Safari Club:Situated on expansive grounds, the Mount Kenya Safari Club offers a wonderful respite from the stress of modern city life. This hotel retains a strong character of history, with cottages reminiscent of 1950's glamour. These cottages boast huge French windows, white terrace furniture and river front sites. Giant, crackling fires create a warm and inviting atmosphere on those chilly nights, and fragrant gardens and a refreshing swimming pool is ideal for those balmy days. |
Day 4: Masai Mara National Game Reserve, KenyaAfter breakfast on day 4 of your Kenta safari tour, you head to Nanyuki airstrip for a scenic flight over the magnificent Great Rift Valley to the Masai Mara Game Reserve. The Masai Mara Game Reserve is an area rich in scenic beauty and wildlife, one of the last remaining wildlife sanctuaries in Africa. The beautiful Mara Safari Club is situated in the Ol Choro Oiroua Conservation Area at the foot of the Aitong Hills.
This area is renowned for its excellent wildlife sightings, including magnificent prides of Lion. The Mara River surrounds the camp on all 3 sides. All tents offer luxurious four poster beds, an opulent verandah and modern en suite facilities with awesome views. You will be met on arrival and transferred to the lodge, followed by an afternoon game drive. Meals and overnight at Mara Safari Club on an all inclusive basis. |
Day 5: Masai Mara National Game Reserve, KenyaToday you have the choice of enjoying a memorable balloon ride with champagne breakfast. You spend the whole day on game drives through the diverse Masai Mara. Meals and overnight at Mara Safari Club on an all inclusive basis. |
Mara Safari Club:This first rate safari club offers lovely accommodation in tented safari camps. These tents boast their own superb river frontage with a viewing deck with wonderful views of Hippo and Crocodile. This camp has 8 double and 42 twin bedded tents accommodating a maximum of 100 guests at a time. Rooms boast luxurious amenities like four poster beds, verandah overlooking the river, private bathroom with shower, washbasin and flush toilet, and hot and cold running water. |
Day 6: Tour endsAfter breakfast you will be transferred to the airstrip for your morning scheduled flight to Nairobi. You are met at Wilson Airport for your transfer to The Carnivore Restaurant for lunch. After lunch you are transferred to your city centre hotel or Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your flight home. |
